Comprehensive Cover-
Along with 3rd party damage (individual/property) it also covers policy holders damage.

Comprehensive insurance quote comprises of
  • 3rd party premium plus own damage premium
  • GST plus Additional coverage (if availed)
  • Premium for personal accident (owner driver cover)

Type of Additional Coverage which insurance companies provide

In case of accident causing partial or full disability or death insurance company will offer financial compensation.

policy holder will get necessary assistance with problems like break down, tyre puncher etc

This cover will take care of lock replacement if key of your vehicle is lost

Claim Process

(these are general guidelines and may differ from Policy to Policy)

Few regular reasons due to which claim gets rejected
  • Losses when Driver driving without valid licence
  • Losses caused when Driver is under influence of Alcohol
  • Regular mechanical expenses due to wear and tear
  • Damages while vehicle is used for illegal work.
  • Customer is unable to provide necessary documents like police FIR, claim form etc.
  • If proven that losses have caused due to malafied intention of policy holder

how to file a car insurance calim?

To apply for a claim, you can go by any of the two modes- cashless and reimbursement. A detailed explantion of both is given below.

Cashless Claim
  • In case of any damage to your car, take it to a network garage and inform the insurer.
  • Submit all the required documents along with the claim form.
  • Allow the surveyor to analyze you vehicle and the whole scenario.
  • After gatting the approval, the surveyor will directly connect with the garage and pay on your behalf.
Reimbursement Claim
  • After your behicle is repaired from a non-network garage (with expenses paid), you can apply for a reimbursement claim.
  • Submit the claim form attached with the neccessary documents.
  • The insurance company will analyze your case.
  • After getting the approval, the company will reimburse you directly.
  • Take a note of the below-mentioned documents, which you have to submit along with the claim form-
  • Copy of the insurance.
  • Driving license copy, Registration Book, and FIR(if required)
  • Copy of repair bills and payment receipts.
  • Sets of keys/booklets/warranty cards (in case you are a bictim of theft).
